Japanese abstract poetry in unique vocal, spoken word, beat maker. MA comes from the rap and hip-hop Tokyo scene, but throughout the years he evolved into a more noisy and experimental beat making. He blends ritualistic ancient Japanese lyrics and vocal methods, on music that he creates using also his voice or field recordings. The result is alienating, weird and haunting but at the same time fascinating and futuristic.

Duo composed of Nicola Ratti and MA. Nicola Ratti produces the music with his modular synthesizers while MA produces the lyrics and vocals in his native language. The duo has been active since their first collaborative album Shinkai released in 2021 by WhereToNow? Nicola Ratti lives in Milan and MA in Tokyo, they share an a-geographical place made of word suspended on sounds.
