Un libro autobiografico che intreccia fotografie e disegni per esplorare paure e inquietudini negli spazi domestici. Attraverso la registrazione di composizioni accidentali, frammenti di quotidiano e scene intime, il libro racconta la relazione di un padre con la casa, la famiglia e la propria identità, riflettendo sull’abitare come luogo di affetti, routine e trasformazione.
Il muro, da superficie a pagina, rivela il processo di realizzazione del volume. Si tratta di fotografie di fotografie: immagini stampate e disposte sulle pareti spoglie, poi rifotografate nell’arco di una sola notte nella casa completamente svuotata, prima di essere abbandonata per sempre. È questa configurazione provvisoria a essere fissata in maniera quasi performativa.
Dalla nuova superficie, divenuta pagina stampata, riaffiorano segni del tempo e dettagli apparentemente insignificanti. Come in un carotaggio, lo sguardo estrae residui e incidenti e, pagina dopo pagina, ricostruisce la storia.

An autobiographical book that intertwines photographs and drawings to explore fears and anxieties within domestic spaces. Through the recording of accidental compositions, fragments of everyday life, and intimate scenes, the book tells the story of a father’s relationship with the house, the family, and his own identity, reflecting on dwelling as a place of affection, routine, and transformation.
The wall, from surface to page, reveals the process of creating the volume. These are photographs of photographs: images printed and arranged on bare walls, then re-photographed over the course of a single night in a completely emptied house, just before being abandoned forever. It is this dimension of temporariness that is fixed in an almost performative manner.
From these new surfaces, now transformed into printed pages, traces of time and seemingly insignificant details resurface. Like in a core sample, the gaze extracts remnants and accidents, and, page after page, reconstructs the story.
